Christian ministries make up 65% of the agencies nationwide that are reaching out and serving the sexually abused, exploited, and trafficked. In our most recent survey of trafficked survivors, 75% would choose to receive faith-based care over secular options. But nationally, there are not enough services, existing agencies are not connected, and we have not joined together to build a Kingdom-level response.

The Institute for Shelter Care has an 18-year history in anti-trafficking research, training, direct care, and ministry support. We know this field well and thus have taken up the charge to lead the Christian response to a greater level of impact.
